fOOD bANK SUPPORT
Local firm supports Food Bank at School
Envirocall, a market leading UK-wide specialist in the removal and remediation of Asbestos Containing Materials based in Coleshill recently completed a food bank collection for Smith’s Wood Academy in Birmingham.
Lisa Tynan, finance director at Envirocall heard about the food bank that had been set up and was very keen to help parents and families at her old school.
Alongside fellow pupil and associate of the school Melanie Harris they worked with Gail Carroll a member of staff at the school who is in charge of the food bank.
Lisa commented, “Having been educated at Smith’s Wood Academy I was keen to be able to give something back to the school.
“When I found out about the food bank requirement at the school this was a perfect opportunity to do just that.
“During December 2022 all of our staff at Envirocall donated both food and money towards the donation of £1000 that was made to help buy additional food for the bank too.”
